Tonneittain ihania juttuja - A ton of lovely things

Viime kuukausina ihanat ihmiset ovat taas antaneet hurjan paljon lahjotuksia askarteluuni - tässä iso, lämmin kollektiivinen kiitos kaikille <3 Kaikista ei taida edes olla kuvia!

Erityisesti täytyy mainita nämä hauskakuosiset kaulahuivit, joista piisaa kivoja tekstiilejä. Ihanan Lublubin kasvattajilta sain nämä, ovat keränneet niitä USA:ssa vuosien mittaan ja monet niistä ovat siis olleet Lublubin vanhempien kaulassa:

Over the last few months plenty of people have again given me lots of stuff for my crafts - a great, big, warm collective thank you to you all <3 I don't think I even have pics of all the stuff!

I especially have to mention these fun fabrics, which are originally neckerchiefs for dogs. The breeders of my beloved Lublub in have collected these over the years in the US and so many of them have been worn by Lublubs parents:

Shoppailua maailmalla - Shopping abroad

Joulukuussa vietin viikon ystävien luona Virginiassa, oli ihana reissu :) Ikävä kyllä budjettini oli kovin pieni, mutta pääsin sentään käymään askartelukaupassa! Kaikki oli paljon halvempaa kuin meillä ja harmitti ettei ollu törsätä enempää, mut tällaisen satsin ostin 54 eurolla:

In December I spent a week with friends in Virginia, which was lovely :) Unfortunately my budget was very small, but I did get to pop by a crafts store! Everything was much cheaper than in Finland and I wish I'd had more to spend, but I did get these goodies for 54 euros in all:

Toisin kuin blogista voisi päätellä, mä oon vielä olemassa ;) Syksy ja joulunaika meni ihan huomaamatta muiden kiireiden ja rakkaiden parissa. Seinävaatteita sain syksyllä ommeltua:

Although the absence of updates would indicate otherwise, I am still here ;) The fall and Christmas season flew by, spent doing other things and hanging out with friends and family. I did make a few more tapestries in the fall:

Pienen joulukalenterivaihdonkin tein Äiteen ja Marja-Leenan kanssa. Molemmat sai multa materiaalipaketit (jotka unohdin kuvata, mut ovat nähtävissä täällä  ja tuolla ) ja seinävaatteet - Äitee punasen, Marja-Leena sinisen:

I did do a little Christmas swap with Äitee and Marja-Leena. I gave both a batch of materials (which I forgot to photograph but can be seen here and there ) and tapestries - Äitee got the red one, Marja-Leena the blue:

Voitin upean takan! - I won a gorgeous fireplace!

Jorman blogissa oli arvonta, jossa piti yrittää arvata hänen tekemänsä linnan kokonaispainoa ja äimistyksekseni osuin lähimmäksi! Oon yleensä tosi huono arvioimaan tuollasia. Tänään posti toi kauniin uunin, jonka sisällä lepattaa LED-tuli - miljoona kiitosta!

Ikäväkseni oon surkea kuvaaja, eivätkä uvat siten tee uunille oikeutta, mutta käykääpä Jorman blogissa katsomassa upeita nukkekotiviritelmiä :)

There was a giveaway in Jorma's blog, where you had to try to guess the weight of the castle he has built, and to my astonishment my guess was closest! I'm usually terrible at stuff like that. Today I got the prize in the mail - a beautiful fireplace with a LED fire - thanks a million!

It bugs me that I'm so bad at taking pictures, as once again the pic does not do the object justice, mut do visit Jorma's blog and check out all the fantastic dollhouse stuff he makes :)

Massoittain lahjoja - Gazillions of gifts

Viime aikoina oon saanut hurjan paljon lahjoja - valtavat kiitokset kaikille!

Lately I've gotten massive amounts of gifts - I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart!

Katri toi mulle nämä - lehtikoteloihin ajattelin lajitella kankaita, kauniit kehykset tulevat 1:1 sisustukseen. Koristehiekka päätyy pikkuruisiin akvaarioihin ja vastaaviin ja ihastuttava tyyny saa paikkansa Potter's Peakista. Pahvilaatikossa on iso määrä pieniä kaakeleita, joista on matskua mm. latttioihin:

Katri brought me these - the magazine holders will be good for keeping fabrics handy and the lovely frames will end up on my 1:1 walls. The fine sand is for teeny aquariums and such and the lovely pillow is going to Potter's Peak. The cardboar box contains lots of those small tiles, which will be good for floors among other things:

Kirpparilta ostettua - From the local fleamarket

Piipahdin taannoin kirkonkylän kirpparilla - tällainen satsi löytyi 6 eurolla, plus 15 kirjaa 9 eurolla :)

I popped into the local fleamarket and bought these for 6 euros, plus 15 books for 9 euros :)
