Pienimuotoista shoppailua - A wee bit of shopping

Pitkän työrupeaman jälkeen päätin palkita itseni kirppiskierroksella, joten viime viikolla kiersimme monen monta kirpputoria Saran kanssa. Minitarjonta oli harvinaisen laihaa, mutta tässä viimeisten kolmen kirpparikierroksen tarjontaa:

After a tough couple of weeks of working very long hours I decided to treat myself to some shopping, so last week Sara and I toured several fleamarkets. Unfortunately there was a lot less mini-stuff available than usual, but here's the haul of the last few shopping rounds:

Olin tosi innoissani tosta lokerikosta - oon ostanut samanlaisen kirpparilta joskus aiemmin ja ne on ihan loistavia pikkusälän järjelliseen säilytykseen. Parista hopeaisesta lautasliinarenkaastaa tullee lampunvarjostimet, lasinalusista pöytiä, koruista koristeita/lampetteja/kristallikruunuja tms. Peltilaatikossa oli noita eläimiä, joista eritoten possuperhe ja puput oli mieluisia ja muuttavat Pottereille.

I was thrilled to find that display case - I've bought an identical one earlier at another fleamarket and they're great for keeping beads, buttons, etc. in some kind of order. The napkin rings will become lamp shades, the coasters will be tables, the jewellwery will have a variety of uses. The tin contained all those little animals - at least the pigs and the bunnies will move in with the Potters.

Kannellisia muovipurkkeja maaleja varten, kehyksiä, helmiä ja kimalteita, tommonen ostoskärry (lienee kännykkäteline) ja vähän hopeamaalia löyty kirpparilta. Ihana 7 desin "teekuppi" oli löytö, mä oon kaivannu sellasta pikkuisten mukien sijaan varsinkin nyt kun ilma kylmenee. Äidiltä on noi neulansuojukset (joista oon jo tehnyt monta kynttilänjalkaa) ja Saralta ja Timolta mittanauha, siimaa, ruuvimeisseleitä ja tommottis tupsu :)

Plastic jars with lids for mixing paint, frames, beads and glitter, a shopping cart (probably really a cellphone holder) and some silver paint. The huge tea cup fits 7 dl and is perfect for sipping tea or soup from on cold winter nights - I can't abide small cups! The needle sheaths are from mom (I've made several candlesticks of them) and Sara and Timo gave me the rest :)

Viime sunnuntaina kävin Tuulosen parkkikirpparilla, sikamaisia hintoja, mut jotain sentään löysin: vauvan, posliiniastioita, käärmeen Voldemortin kämppään, koruja askarteluihin ja ton rukin, joka kylläkin on pieni Pottereille, mut kaikkihan me tiietään (koska mä niin sanon), että taikarukit on usein pieniä ja metallisia ;D

Finally this Sunday I stopped by a fleamarket in Tuulonen, but geez the prices were ridiculous!!! Still, I found a snake for Voldemort, a baby, some porcelain dishes, some jewellery to use in crafts and that little spinning wheel, which is really too small for the Potter's, but I figure it's a magic one and they, as we all know (since I say so) are small and metallic ;D
