The last few days I've just done crafts, here are the results.
Erittäin siniset sohvat :D Runko vaneria, päällystetty keinonahkakansion osilla, pehmusteet tein liimaamalla ohutta vaahtomuovia muotoon leikatuille pahvinpalasille, päällystin kankaalla ja liimasin koko hoidon sitten runkoon. Rungon osien saumat petsasin ja liimasin niihin nyöriä, korut on osia kauan sitten hajonneesta rannekorusta, jonka oon saanut kummitädiltäni kastelahjaksi. Mä tykkään ite muhkeista, tummista antiikkimööpeleistä ja niitä näköjään siunaantuu Pottereillekin ;) Pienemmät sohvat ois tietty vieneet vähemmän tilaa, mut mua häiritsi ajatus siitä, ettei iso perhe mahtuis röhnöttämään pienemmillä sohvilla, joten tein tahallani niistä tommoset mukheet jotka vie puolet niiden olkkarista :D
Very blue sofas :D The frames are plywood, covered with pieces from the antique faux leather folder, the stuffing was done by gluing thin pieces of foam rubber onto cardboard cut-outs that were then covered with cloth and the whole shabang then glued to the frame. I stained the seams of the frames' pieces and then glued string onto the seams and the jewellery consists of pieces from a long since broken bracelet that was given to me by my godmother when I was christened. I like huge, dark wooden antique furniture and apparently the Potters do as well ;) Smaller sofas would of course have taken up less space, but I couldn't stomach the thought of the big family not having roomy couches to lie on, so I deliberately made them so big they'll take up half the living room :D

Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaljon kynttilänjalkoja :D Jalat on tehty diabetesneulojen suojuksista, jotka on maalattu ja koristeltu, sinne tänne sojottavat kynttilät on maalattuja grillitikun pätkiä, joiden päihin liimasin mustia langanpätkiä. Aattelin joihinkin vielä tehdä steariinia, siis niin kuin steariini ois valunu kynttilänjalkoja pitkin. Keskellä tuunattu kynttelikkö (muovia, jonka maalasin hopeanväriseksi ja lätkäsin blingiä päälle) ja sen vieressä samalla tavoin tuunattu tiimalasi.
Tämän harrastuksen myötä oon löytänyt sisäisen harakkani :D Huomaan kirppareilla tuntevani vetoa kaikkeen kimaltavaan enkä näemmä pysty tekemään mitään liimaamataa siihen enemmän tai vähemmän helmiä, dimangeja tai koruja tai maalaamatta ne kullalla, hopealla tai kuparilla :D Itseasiassa Harry ja Ginny tuskin "oikeesti" olisivat kauheen bling-henkisiä, mut joutuvat nyt tyytymään kohtaloonsa, kun se mun mielessä kuitenkin on jotenkin "sallittua" velhoille :D
Loooooooooooooooots of candlesticks :D The holders are actually plastic sheaths from diabetes needles that have been painted and decorated, the candles leaning this way and that are bits of barbeque sticks that have been painted and I glued tiny black threads to the ends as wicks. Some of the candlesticks are still works in progress, once I figure out the best way to make it seem as though the candles have burned down and the wax has run down them. In the middle a plastic candelabra and hourglass, both were painted with silver paint and some bling slapped on.
This hobby has brought out my inner magpie :D I find myself drawn to glittering things at the fleamarkets and can't seem to make anything without adding lots of beads, diamonds or jewellery or painting it gold, silver or copper :D In "reality" I doubt either Harry or Ginny are very bling-oriented, but they'll just have to resign to their fate since I feel it is somehow "justifiable" for wizzards :D

More candlesticks, these were made from beads, the candles too - the wicks' glue hasn't dried translucent yet in the picture.
Lopuksi surkea kuva kahdesta muovisesta maitotonkasta, jotka oli vihreitä, mut maalasin ne hopealla.
Finally a lousy pic of two old-fashioned milk containers that used to be green plastic, but are now painted silver.
