Kirpparikuume - Flea market fever

Annoin itselleni joululahjaksi kirpparikierroksen ja se olikin taas aika hedelmällinen reissu! Tuo kaappi taitaa mennä Hagridille jahka tuunaan sitä vähän. Yks ilahduttavimmista löydöistä on tuo haarniska - mä oon kaivannu sellasta pitkään ja nyt kävi vieläpä niin hyvin, että tuo on täydellisen kokoinen 1:12 nukkiksiin! Se on muovia muttei näytä siltä:

I gave myself a Christmas present, namely the permission to root around at the flea markets again and found some good stuff. The cupboard will most likely be Hagrid's. One of my favorite finds is the armor - I've wanted one for a long time and this is the perfect size for a 1:12 dollhouse! It's plastic but doesn't look like it:

Tollasta luomivärisettiä oon kaivannut erilaisiin nukkistarkotuksiin ja nyt löyty sellanen, jossa on niihin sopiva värimaailma. Noi metallilautaset on kaiverrushommien opetteluun, puutikut nyt aina tulee tarpeeseen. Noi muovimosaiikit oli yks lempparilöytöjäni:

I've been on the look out for an eye shadow palette for coloring various dollhouse things and now found one with the shades I wanted. The metal trays are for practicing engraving, wooden dowels are always useful. The plastic mosaic bits were one of my favorite finds:

A new addition to my Potter collection, a Gryffindor Quidditch robe! I don't know what I'll do with it but my inner geek couldn't possibly leave it behind at 4 euros. Kid size, maybe I'll play dress up with the kids :D

Potter-kokoelman kasvua - My Potter collection has grown

Viime kuukausina oon löytyänyt uusia Potter-juttuja. Ensinnäkin tämän laatikon kera Potter-aiheisten vaakunapinssien. Se on halpaa kiinalaista tekoa mikä näkyy siinä että Puuskuphin vaakunnassa lukee Hufflepuee ja Korpinkynnen vaakunassa Ravenctaw, mut haitanneeko tuo mittään :)

In the last few months I've found some more pieces for my Potter collection. First this box with heraldin Potter pins. They are cheap Chinese ones which shows in that Hufflepuff's shield says Huffllepuee and Ravenclaw's Ravenctaw, but no matter :)

Tällaista Dumbledorea kera Fawkesin oon metsästänyt ja vihdoin löytyi setti, joka mahtui jopa mun budjettiini! Tässä vertailussa Mattelin eri sarjan Dumbledoren kanssa sekä Fawkes (oikealla) aiemmin ostamani feeniksin kera:

I've been looking for a Dumbledore and Fawkes like this for some time and finally came upon a set that fit even my tiny budget! Here with the larger Mattel series Dumbledore and Fawkes (on the right) with the phoenix I've found earlier:

Mielettömin löytöni on kuitenkin tämä versio Mattelin Hermionesta - tämä versio on äärimmäisen harvinainen ja sillonkin kun se löytyy, sen hinnat ovat huikeat, joten haikeudella arvelin etten koskaan saa tällaista. Mutta kuinka ollakaan se löytyi yllättäen kympillä, jippii!!!

My most amazing find though is this version on Mattels Hermione - this version is extremely rare and when you do see it, it's sold at exorbitant sums, so I was resigned to never getting this. Then suddenly there it was for 10 euros, hurrah!!!

Mulla oli ennestään tavallisempi Mattelin Hermione, mutta kuten näistä kuvista näkyy, tämä harvinaisempi on tuhat kertaa parempi!

I already had this more common Mattel Hermione, but as you can see from the pic, the rarer one is infinitely better!

Gilderoy hihityttää Griseldaa - Griselda giggles at Gilderoy

Bowtruckle Pines sai uuden asukkaan tänään kun Gilderoy Lockhart teki dramaattisen sisääntulon viitta hulmuten, tuoreeltaan kaukomailta tulleena. "On siinä keikaria kerrakseen", Griselda hekotteli. "Mitä mahtavat kylän muut velhot tuumata koreasta kollista?"

Bowtruckle Pines got a new inhabitant today as Gilderoy Lockhart made a dramatic entrance, cloak swishing , fresh from his journey from a faraway land. "My my, aren't you a dashing lad", Griselda chuckled. "I wonder what the village wizards will make of this dandy sorcerer?"

Gilderoy lampsi Riddle's Rookiin kuin kotiinsa ja istahti isännän elkein Voldemortin tuoliin. Tosin, jos tuo tietäisi, kenelle tuoli kuuluu, saattaisi pojalle tulla pupu pöksyyn.

Gilderoy swept into Riddle's Rook and draped himself elegantly in Voldemort's chair. Although, if he knew who that chair belongs to, he might not be quite so nonchalant.

"Uh oh, now you've really done it", Griselda sniggers. "Just you wait until Voldy here's about this!" Lockhart doesn't notice her malicious glee, he's too busy trying to strike a flattering pose. Poor Gilderoy, I have a feeling he'll be shocked by how hard it is to impress the old hag!

Tätä en olekaan muistanut kuvata, nimittäin ajankääntäjä, vai miksi sitä suomeksi kutsutaankaan. Löytyi netistä törkyhalvalla :)

I'm really upset that there is no Mcgonagall doll by Mattel :( I need to find a doll like her. If only I could afford to have one made by Taru! Well, maybe I'll win the lottery some day...
